Lemon Grass & Turmeric Fried Chicken



Ingredients:-
  • 2 chicken thigh, boneless ( cut into small pieces )
  • 2 tbsp Hup Loong Lemon Grass powder
  • 1 tbsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp Cooking Oil ( to marinate chicken )
  • 1/2 bulb garlic ( minced )
  • 1/3 onion ( minced )
  • Cooking Oil

Note: If you are using Malaysia Turmeric powder, please reduce the quantity because Malaysia Turmeric is stronger. You have no worry if you bought your turmeric powder from Asia market in state.

Steps:-
Marinate the chicken with all ingredients for 1/2 hour.


Heat the wok with cooking oil and pour the marinated chicken into the wok for deep frying.
Turn off the fire when the chicken turn to dark golden colour /cooked.


Ready to serve! Normally I will just serve with simple sliced cucumber and tomato.
