Kuih Kodok ( Malaysian-style Fried Banana Fritters

I still remember when I was staying at Kota Damansara, I will grab some fried banana and mamak fried chicken opposite my condo after work. I try to avoid heavy meals at night. The other reason is they are my favourite!
So, today I did some fried Kuih Kodok for SB afternoon tea.

  • 3 big ripe bananas
  • 1 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 egg
  • some water
  • cooking oil for deep frying

Break the bananas into small parts and put all the ingredients in a bowl.
Using a big spoon or hand, stir the ingredients until well blended.

Heat up a wok with cooking oil.Once the oil is heated, scoop up a spoonful of batter into a frying wok and deep fry until golden brown.
