Coffee & Coconut Milk Jelly ( Agar-agar )


Ingredients:-

Coffee Layer
  • 2 tbsp agar-agar powder
  • 1 pack instant 3 in 1 Nescafe
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 5 cups water
Coconut Milk Layer
  • 1 tbsp agar-agar powder
  • 1 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp salt

Steps:-
Cook these two layer ingredients at the same time with different pot.

Coffee Layer
  1. Mix agar-agar powder with water and bring it to boil until the agar-agar dissolved.
  2. Add in coffee powder and stir well.
  3. Add sugar and boil until the sugar dissolved and turn down the heat to the lowest.
Coconut Milk Layer
  1. Mix agar-agar powder with water together and bring to the boil until the agar-agar dissolved.
  2. Add in coconut milk, sugar and salt together. Stir regularly to prevent the coconut cream separating.
  3. Boil until the mixture dissolve completely, turn down the heat to the lowest.

  1. After both ready, spoon either one mixture into the mold and leave it set. I put the mold into the refrigerator to speed the process.
  2. Spoon another mixture into the same mold and repeat the steps until the mold is full and store in refrigerator.
Only remove from the mold when you want to serve.
