Giselle 2 Years Old birthday at David Brown's Restaurant, Penang Hill

Date : 10 April 2012

SB and myself actually thinking hard for a place to celebrate my Giselle 2 years old birthday...we need something very relaxing yet a bit of romantic place for my family members to get together. Thanks to my both sisters, Janice and Sandy gave us a great suggestion to have it top of the Penang hill.
We decided to have it on Friday ( 10 April 2012 ) which was an a day earlier because my 2nd sister and her family are from Alor Setar.

Let me have a brief introduction about Dave Brown's Restaurant. Actually this restaurant is located at Strawberry Hill. Many of us may not know that  the first ever place in the Malay Peninsular to grow strawberries was on Penang Hill by Captain Francis Light. He had levelled a little hillock for planting and British settler, David Brown later obtained this hillock and built this tea house called upon his name, David Brown's Cottage. Therefore, this hillock i spopularly known as "Strawberries HIll ". However,David Brown now is belong to Peter Lee who is the founder of the famous Smokehouse.
Thanks for all my beloved family members who was rushing back from work or far away from A/S just to celebrate Giselle birthday! ( Every1 love my girl every much as she is the youngest in our family )

In that late afternoon, the whole area occupied by us :) Every single corner full with our laughter and kids are freely run here and there without disturbing from outsider.

The celebration was great especially when family members around. The place was great too! However, charges for the foods was expensive and not really good. I will said just "OK" only. But,for sure I will visit this place again in the future because it is still a good place to get away from a city. Maybe for a afternoon tea with close friend and let the kids playing on the green grass field.

Oh yes!If you plan to make a visit, please do try to reach there in the late afternoon. You will be able to see 3 different nice scenery ( afternoon, sunset and night view )from top of the hill.
